If you fail to comprehend even after this, you can easily relate it with energy efficiency as it is a project dealing with energy efficiency. Can you guess the definition of energy efficiency hence? It is regarding the use of energy to provide the same level of energy service and according to an assortment of studies worldwide, energy efficient buildings, industrial processes and transportation could reduce the world's energy needs in 2050 by one third. The collective effect of this will play a great role in controlling global emissions of greenhouse gases, indeed.

Are you interested to perceive the true depiction of this green building movement at the moment? If you are, you will have to come to West Virginia and specifically to the Lincoln County High School in Hamlin. The school is spearheading the elegant green building movement not only in the town of Hamlin but also across the state. What is more striking is that the school is doing the same in spite of several constraints. It is worthwhile to mention in this respect that a bill aimed at including green building techniques into state code was introduced to the West Virginia legislature last session but has failed to materialize yet.

The school was inaugurated only in the year 2006 and from the very commencement the school’s commitment to uphold the cause of green movement has been noticed. It should be mentioned, in this context, that the building was designed by ZMM Architects in Charleston who focused on being friendly to the environment.

It is hoped that West Virginia happens to be on the verge of developing building codes around green building and Lincoln County High School will acquire a glorious place therefore.
